It had to start eventually

You know, when Ramona started getting interested in being boyfriend & girlfriend.

Sam borrowed her phone today, and while texting D (who had her phone) she started looking through Ramona's sent & received texts. There were a lot of texts there that worried her. Things like "OMG I missed you today!" "Baby are you feeling ok, you missed school." And most disturbing... many of the texts were ended with "love ya!" She didn't recognise the boys name. So she called the number...

It was a girl's phone.

She called me all freaking out, wanting to ask Ramona about it, but didn't want her to think she was snooping. I told her to go ahead and ask about it. It's our *job* to snoop :)

So she asked about it. Turns out the girl is in her choir class, and due to her voice she's in the primarily male section. As an inside joke, they all started calling the girls in the "boys" section male names. No girlfriend-girlfriend thing at all.

Sam talked to her, and let her know that we don't care if she likes boys or girls, and whatever orientation she ended up being we'd still love her and support her. She also pointed out that whatever she does, she should be discreet about dating stuff when she's at school, because kids can be very cruel.
